Essential Fall Boots

Fall 2019 is turning out to be the season for chunky footwear. Prada, Zara and Gucci to name a few are all at it. We are living through a major throwback to the eighties and nineties with the resurgence of the iconic Dr Martens boots. For those that are finding this to be a step too far, help is at hand as we go through three alternatives that look great regardless of current trends.

Rain Boots

The classic example are the Hunter Tall Rain Boots. These iconic boots were first introduced in 1956 and are still going strong today. They are a stylish addition to any fall or spring closet and you are guaranteed to enjoy wearing them for years to come!

Combat Boots

Stuart Weitzman, Aqua, and Sam Edelman are excellent examples for fall that can be worn with skirts, dresses, jeans and ankle pants. They are recommended for a casual laid back look. For a more edgy style, select boots with studs and/or buckles like the example above.

Ankle Boots

The classic ankle boot can be worn casually or dressed up when worn with a work outfit. This boot is absolutely essential for any fall shoe collection. Available in a variety of heels, flat, mid or high, it is the most versatile of all the boots for the season. It can be worn with virtually anything and it'll look fabulous. Vince Camuto's Benedie is a great example. Others are Stuart Weizman's leather booties and Hilty Bootie by Sam Edelman. It is not unusual to see it worn all year round.
